Federal Healthcare Partnership (FHP)

The Federal Healthcare Partnership (FHP) is a voluntary alliance of federal government organizations with responsibilities given by legislation or policy for ensuring delivery of healthcare benefits, goods, services or information to specific groups of people in the Canadian population.

Audiology is one of several activities in which the FHP collaborates for the delivery of health services. The permanent members of the FHP who participate in the Audiology file are:

• Department of National Defence (DND)
• Health Canada (First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB-HC)
• Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)
• Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC)
