Code of Ethics

Fundamental principles, values and standards essential to the responsible practice of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

Speech-Language & Audiology Canada’s Code of Ethics is one of our association’s most important documents.

It outlines the fundamental principles, values and standards which guide SAC members and associates in the responsible practice of their professions.

The underlying values of the Code form the rationale for ethical standards and provide the basis for ethical practice and decision-making. The applicable standards within the Code guide members and associates in maintaining professionally acceptable behavior in their practice.

All SAC members are required to abide by the SAC code of ethics.
